The best barbershop in the East Village. inexpensive, immaculate, and hospitable. Every time I go, I feel like I have a fresh start and a new hairstyle. My girlfriend usually tells me to express my gratitude to the barber for her.

B&H provides incredibly affordable haircuts. Just $29! The cost of my visit to another barbershop was fifty dollars! When did all of this start to get so expensive? Since they performed an excellent job on my haircut and it's the only one I can afford, I will definitely be back. That, in my opinion, is the sign of a great haircut—it truly fits the contours of my skull.

So i thought I had been getting a decent haircut until I was schooled by Joseph. He took the time to show me where the last Barber had made mistakes and asked me each step exactly how I wanted my hair cut. He isn't just a barber, he is an Artist that cares greatly for his craft. I've been searching for the right barber since mine retired about a year ago and it hasn't been easy but I think I finally found the right person. Also one of the least expensive places around. Oh and if you like whiskey he has that also included with the service. Great place. Awesome vibe. 😁.....9/30/20..just a little update and some new pictures. I've been going to Joseph now for almost a year and have never been disappointed. Each time my haircut looks better than the last. B&H Barbershop is not just the best barbershop in the East Village, but arguably the best in all of New York State, and perhaps even the world. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, both with long hair and short. Josef, who takes immense pride in his craft, is the best barber I’ve ever had. He carefully selects the other barbers, and they’re all exceptional.
Before discovering B&H, I was always apprehensive about barbers. Here, they take the time to listen to exactly what you want and ask all the necessary questions before starting, and as they go. No surprise cuts or rogue moves—just a consistently great experience every time.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a great vibe. It’s a classic neighborhood barbershop filled with skilled professionals. Their prices are very reasonable. You can relax, get a haircut or shave, and enjoy some good conversation. Every visit is a good time, so much so that I wish I could get my hair cut every day!

Walked into B&H after a five hour flight late Sunday and came out feeling like a new man! My barber Manny knew exactly what I wanted with just a quick chat and a photo. Despite my last haircut being over a year ago, Manny took care of me with precision and patience. He was clearly a pro who paid attention to details—I learned a lot from his tips about my particular kind of hair during the cut. Thanks Manny, for helping me look my best on short notice!
